Participants return to work feeling more grounded, engaged, and energised, while teams benefit from greater trust, empathy, psychological safety, collaboration, and a stronger sense of belonging. Vasvi’s Art-based sessions were a profound and emotional journey of self-discovery. Through the gentle power of art and reflection, participants explored their inner worlds uncovering personal barriers, reconnecting with their authentic selves, and finding healing in expression. Many shared heartfelt stories of survival and moments of realization as they discovered what had been holding them back. The sessions beautifully captured the essence of the Self-Discovery track at Learnfinity, leaving participants with a deeper understanding of themselves and a renewed sense of clarity and strength.

Thank you, Vasvi, for creating such a transformative space, one that touched hearts, inspired reflection, and reminded everyone of the power of creative self-expression.

Education

In an increasingly connected yet often isolating world, students face mounting academic pressures alongside challenges related to identity, belonging, and mental wellbeing. Supporting young people today requires creating spaces that foster emotional resilience, authentic connection, and holistic growth—not just academic success.

Aroha's expressive arts-based experiences create safe, non-judgemental spaces where students can navigate academic stress, explore their emotions, and express themselves authentically. Through creativity and shared reflection, participants develop greater emotional intelligence, empathy, and interpersonal skills while building meaningful connections with their peers. The result is a stronger culture of belonging, resilience, and holistic wellbeing within the educational community.

Vasvi organized and led a group art therapy course at IIIT Delhi, where I was then a student. Over the months, I engaged deeply with the creative process, reflected on my emotions, and discovered new ways of expressing myself. The safe, thoughtful environment she created gave me the confidence to open up, connect with others, and uncover aspects of myself I hadn’t recognized before.

Through the sessions, I gradually became open to the idea of therapy—something I had previously been hesitant about. I also reconnected with a sense of childlike creativity and curiosity that I thought I had long outgrown. Rediscovering that part of myself was both liberating and deeply healing.

I credit Vasvi for guiding me through this journey. Her unwavering commitment, empathy, authenticity, and encouragement created a space where we felt safe to take risks, express ourselves honestly, and grow in ways we never imagined.

Ms. Vasvi's deep understanding of emotional well-being and creative expression was beautifully reflected throughout the session.

The workshop’s structure offered students a safe and expressive space to explore their feelings.

The emphasis on empathy and shared experiences through art allowed participants to form meaningful connections, not just with each other, but also with their own emotions. Ms. Vasvi’s warmth and the way she facilitated reflective moments made the session particularly enriching, ensuring everyone left with a sense of emotional growth.

This workshop was a true testament to the healing power of art, and we couldn’t have asked for a better mentor. We hope to learn more from you.

Vasvi's 'Expressive Arts Based Wellbeing' was an excellent session at our ILSS offsite that helped us dig deeper into some of our core values and belief systems as individuals and as a team. Through arts-based conversations and dialogues, Vasvi helped us connect and engage with one another in a profound way. This will have long-term benefits in how we relate to one another and how we work as a team. Vasvi is an extremely skilled and knowledgeable facilitator that enabled her to understand our needs, and design and deliver a customized solution for us.

Our team found the session to be a refreshing opportunity to relax, express themselves freely, and reconnect with their inner world. Through the creative process, they gained greater clarity about their emotions, recognised their inner strengths and resources, reflected on how they contribute to the team, and revisited parts of themselves they had not connected with in a long time. Above all, they thoroughly enjoyed engaging with art materials again.

Vasvi took the time to deeply understand our needs, asked thoughtful questions, and carefully tailored the experience to our team. She facilitated a group of over 80 participants with remarkable ease, creating a safe, engaging, and well-held space throughout the session.

I have known Vasvi since we began our Expressive Arts journey together in 2014, and over the years our paths have continued to cross through workshops and independent practice. Two years ago, she joined our project Threads of Humanity at The Yuva Ekta Foundation as an Expressive Arts Facilitator, working with juvenile offenders at the Place of Safety & Special Home for Boys in Delhi.

Vasvi is an exceptionally empathetic and compassionate facilitator, with a remarkable ability to tune into the shifting dynamics of a group. Her workshops are thoughtfully designed, creatively facilitated, and responsive to participants' needs. Her warmth, presence, and people skills kept the boys deeply engaged and always asking for more. I look forward to our continued association at The Yuva Ekta Foundation.
